Historic at Heart

Woodbury Apartments is a three-building 35 unit luxury apartment project located adjacent to the University of Florida campus. The units offer 59 bedrooms with high-end finishes and kitchen and baths that include Hardwood Shaker cabinets with imported quartz tops, stainless steel energy efficient appliances, en-suite washer and dryers included. These units feature ceramic tile floors in all living areas, carpeted bedrooms, and decorative base molding throughout. The architectural style of the buildings is closely coordinated with the City of Gainesville Historic Review Board to maintain consistency with the look and feel of the University Heights Historic District.

This project is located on an intensely constricted site in a congested neighborhood situated between the existing 12 buildings of Woodbury Row. Prior to new construction, three historic homes were lifted and relocated closer to the street allowing Building 3 to fit within the approved site plan. All three buildings have zero lot lines to adjacent parking, alleys and existing structures that remain active throughout construction. To meet the stringent city stormwater requirements each of the two larger buildings have underground storage tanks installed below the ground level parking decks.
