Preservation and Transformation

The entire project for which Scorpio managed is a historic rehabilitation and innovative transformation of the College of Education’s historical physical form. The floor plans and aesthetics reflect the building’s original historic architectural design. Updates to the structures provide current and future technological advancements needed for education training. The program included the rehabilitation of @80,000SF Historic Norman Hall, the addition of a new College of Education Conference Center, and the renovation of @8,000SF of Norman Hall Office Building. This renovation also incorporated the build-out of Norman Hall’s previously unfinished basement to create the finished space for a large Starbucks and The Market Convenience Store.
